Each fall, we welcome first-year students to campus a few days before the semester starts. The purpose of first-year orientation is to help our incoming students get comfortable on campus and learn what it means to be a Georgetown College Tiger! During orientation, you will get the chance to meet your fellow classmates and upperclassman orientation leaders, as well as faculty and staff members who can help you settle in. You'll get acquainted with all of the resources we offer to help you succeed, as well as have the opportunity to ask any last-minute questions about campus life or where your first class is located.
And don't worry, we designed your schedule to make sure that you'll still have time to set up your dorm room so that you and your roommate can both see the tv from your beds. From move-in day to the first day of class, you'll be instilled with confidence, fun, and Tiger Pride. We can't wait to welcome you to campus!
