We encourage all Georgetown College students to take advantage of our peer-based tutoring system. Individual tutoring is completely free to students and is available for nearly all 100- and 200-level courses, with group tutors available for some of our core classes in math and the sciences.
If you need a tutor, please log in to GConnect (on the portal) and click on "Courses" to determine if a tutor has already been assigned to the class. If a tutor is not available for a particular course, please let the Office of Academic Success know and our staff will find someone to assist you as quickly as possible.

If you need a little extra support, we’re here for you. Students in the ACE program work closely with Academic Success staff, taking advantage of all of the great services we offer to get your college career off to a strong start.
The Writing Center is conveniently located on the first floor of the Anna Ashcraft Ensor Learning Resource Center right off the main lobby. You may drop in or make an appointment, either by calling the Center at 502-863-8423 or by prescheduling in GConnect. To schedule an appointment, please log in to GConnect and click on “My Support Network” and then “Writing Center.” You will then be able to select a time to meet with a tutor from a wide array of office hours. Regardless of how you make your appointment, a tutorial report will be posted to your professor electronically through GConnect after each session. Note that you should request any help from the Writing Center well in advance of a writing assignment due date.
